Installations for the spaces within the museum lobby

This project was a part of ‘Experience Design for Physical Spaces’ class, the brief required me to choose an existing space, weave a narrative around it and design an overall experience for the same. Since I were required to work with physical spaces I wanted to explore my long time favorite subject of ‘Adaptive re-use in architecture’. The fact that an adaptively reused building comes with an existing history makes it really interesting and provides a great scope of narrative based exploration. I decided to tap into this available resource and use the existing stories to drive the narrative for my project. Since SCAD owns multiple older re-purposed buildings, I decided to make it a ‘build-on’ story experience. The experience included on-site installations, interactive app component and branding for the entire experience.
